Haryana\u2019s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, today said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has declared Maharashtra Governor and senior BJP leader C.P. Radhakrishnan<\/strong> as the NDA\u2019s Vice Presidential candidate. He said that \u201cWhenever C.P. Radhakrishnan served as a Member of Parliament, he performed his duties with utmost sincerity and efficiency. I am very happy that the BJP has announced his name for the Vice President\u2019s post from the South, he said.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Sh. Vij was responding to questions asked by the media persons today.<\/p>\n

On being asked about Rahul Gandhi\u2019s allegations of voter list, to which the Election Commission held a press conference and demanded an affidavit from him, Sh. Vij said that
\n\u201cWhen nothing like this has been reported either in the courts or in official records, how can such baseless claims be accepted? If Rahul Gandhi really has something concrete to say, he should write it down and submit it. Decisions can then be taken on record, not on casual, airy statements, he said.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Reacting to the Election Commission\u2019s statement that the PPT presented by Rahul Gandhi regarding voter fraud did not contain EC data, and that he should either file an affidavit or apologize to the nation, Sh. Vij said that \u201cRahul Gandhi is not following rules or due process. He wants to make even non-issues into big issues. His agenda is clear: if he wants to rule the country, he must keep raising questions on all constitutional institutions \u2013 sometimes on the ED, sometimes on the EC, and sometimes on others.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

On Tejashwi Yadav\u2019s remark that the Election Commission and Prime Minister Modi are trying to \u201ccheat Bihar\u201d, Sh.Vij quipped that\u00a0 \u201cIf Tejashwi Yadav truly believes that, then he should remain silent. Since he knows that in Bihar people mix lime with khaini and chew it, he should ensure no one gets a chance to apply that \u2018lime\u2019 on them.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Pakistan has put itself up for sale \u2013 Vij<\/strong><\/p>\n

On a question regarding Pakistan\u2019s Army Chief claiming that Pakistan will soon reduce its debt and become one of the world\u2019s prosperous societies, Sh. Vij mocked the statement saying that
\n\u201cThis simply means Pakistan has put itself up for sale. Just like street hawkers say \u2018buy my brinjals, buy my potatoes\u2019, Pakistan has now put itself on sale. Let us see who comes forward to buy it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Chief Minister himself is monitoring law and order situation \u2013 Vij<\/strong><\/p>\n

Responding to former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda\u2019s remark that law and order in Haryana has collapsed, Sh. Vij said that \u201cWhatever the situation is, the Chief Minister himself is paying close attention to law and order situation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
