Haryana\u2019s Energy, Transport & Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, responding to INLD leader Abhay Chautala\u2019s allegation that former CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda compromised with BJP due to fear of ED, said that \u201cWho compromised with whom, who defeated whom, and who stood with whom \u2013 these debates have no relevance now. The world bows before success.\u201d<\/p>\n

While intracting with media persons today, Sh. Vij emphasized that BJP has secured victory in Haryana for the third consecutive term on its own strength. He recalled that \u201cDuring the elections, contrary to exit polls, I had confidently said that BJP would again form the government independently. We could clearly sense this outcome as the people were actively discussing the government\u2019s achievements.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sharing his grassroots connect, he said that \u201cIn the last government\u2019s tenure, I organized Janata Camps in Ambala where 5,000\u20136,000 people attended every week. If thousands came with their greviences every week for five years, you can imagine the sheer volume of people who engaged with us. We listened, resolved their problems, and sent them back satisfied. This reflects the trust people have in BJP, he asserted.\u201d<\/p>\n

Responding to Congress leader Randeep Surjewala\u2019s comment comparing the Chief Minister to a driver who cannot handle steering or gears, Sh. Vij retorted that \u201cThe real question is whether Surjewala ji himself has ever passed a driving test at any motor driving school. Does he even know how to drive?\u201d<\/p>\n

Taking a sharp dig, Vij said that \u201cSurjewala should first look at himself \u2013 he has brought Congress to ruin. Their foot is permanently on the brake, not on the accelerator. That is why the Congress has been out of power for three straight elections. We, on the other hand, know when to press the accelerator, when to apply brakes, and when to use the clutch \u2013 and our Chief Minister knows it well.
