Haryana\u2019s Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister, Sh. Anil Vij, has said that a high-level meeting of Transport Department officers will soon be convened at the Chandigarh headquarters. The focus of the meeting will be to address issues related to the non-compliance of private bus operators in providing services under the Free Bus Pass Scheme.<\/div>\n

While interacting with media persons following the District Grievance Redressal Committee meeting held in Kaithal today, Sh.Vij said that some private bus operators have even approached the courts regarding the scheme. \u201cWe will conduct a comprehensive review of the rules and terms that were in place at the time the passes were issued. A dedicated meeting will be held soon to resolve these issues,\u201d he said.<\/div>\n

Responding to questions about officials allegedly failing to address public grievances effectively, the Minister firmly stated that \u201cMy name is Anil Vij, and I do not spare those who do wrong.\u201d<\/div>\n

When asked about his earlier comments comparing leadership to \u2018Gabbar\u2019 (a popular cultural reference), he clarified that \u201cTwo things cannot exist simultaneously\u2014either someone is Gabbar, or he is not. But if someone is Gabbar, then no one can ignore what he says.\u201d<\/div>\n

Regarding the functioning of the CM Window, Sh.Vij affirmed that the state government is actively listening to complaints and ensuring that they are addressed promptly.<\/div>\n

On today\u2019s grievance committee proceedings, Sh.Vij reported that all complaints brought forward during the meeting in Kaithal were heard and resolved. \u201cAction has been ordered on various complaints, and in certain cases, officials have been instructed to present progress reports in the next meeting,\u201d he added.<\/div>\n
