Haryana\u2019s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij took a swipe at the Aam Aadmi Party after seven of its Rajya Sabha MPs left the party, saying, \u201cAAP\u2019s pot of lies has burst and its game is over.\u201d<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
While interacting with the media persons today, Sh. Vij said that what he had been saying about the party since its formation is now proving to be true. He added that even the founding members of AAP have acknowledged that the party no longer stands for truth and principles, but has instead been involved in wrong and self-serving activities.<\/div>\n

Reacting to the high voter turnout in West Bengal, Sh Vij said it is a result of Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s popularity. He said that \u201cIt is due to the Modi wave that such a large number of people came out of their homes to vote.\u201d<\/div>\n

He further said that earlier, supporters of opposition parties were often prevented from voting, but this time the Election Commission made better arrangements, ensuring that everyone could exercise their franchise. As a result, around 92% voting was recorded, which is possibly the highest since 1947. He claimed this indicates that the BJP is set to form the government in West Bengal with a majority.<\/div>\n

On the question of an attack on a BJP candidate, Sh. Vij said that the elections were largely peaceful this time. He remarked, \u201cBarring minor incidents, no major untoward event occurred, and compared to previous years, this election was safer, with no loss of life.\u201d He credited this to the efficiency of the Election Commission and administration.<\/div>\n

Responding to a statement by INLD leader Abhay Chautala, who had accused Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini of turning Haryana into Bihar, Sh.Vij said that \u201cHaryana is Haryana and will remain so. If he sees Bihar here, it\u2019s a matter of his perception.\u201d<\/div>\n
