5 Days Face to Face Online IMPACT Training for in-service teachers begins in Kargil<\/h2>\n

Kargil, December 11<\/p>\n

The first phase of\u00a05\u00a0Days\u00a0Face to\u00a0Face\u00a0Online Integrated Multidisciplinary Professional Advancement Course for\u00a0Teachers\u00a0(IMPACT)\u00a0training for in-service teachers of Kargil district\u00a0began\u00a0through online mode\u00a0here on Thursday.<\/p>\n

This training programme is\u00a0being conducted\u00a0by the District Institute of Education and Training (DIET)\u00a0Kargil\u00a0through the\u00a0Zoom\u00a0Meet app\u00a0wherein\u00a025 trained key resource persons of Kargil district\u00a0are\u00a0presenting 10 modules on different topics related to generic and\u00a0pedagogy.<\/p>\n

Chief Education Officer\u00a0(CEO)\u00a0Kargil Nazir Ahmed Wani,\u00a0Principal DIET Kargil\u00a0Ghulam Haider, Nodal\u00a0Officer\u00a0Teachers\u2019 Trainings\u00a0UT Ladakh\/Zonal Education Officer Kargil\u00a0Muhammad Mussa\u00a0and other concerned officers addressed the participants on the occasion.<\/p>\n

The training programme will be conducted in two phases and in the first phase teachers from Kargil, Shargole and Sankoo zones are participating.<\/p>\n

105 teachers from three\u00a0educational\u00a0zones joined\u00a0the training programme\u00a0through\u00a0Zoom\u00a0Meet app\u00a0in the\u00a0session\u00a0held on Thursday while around\u00a03000 in-service teachers of Kargil district will be trained\u00a0during\u00a0the\u00a05 days\u00a0course.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, it was informed on the occasion that the whole module of the\u00a0training\u00a0has been\u00a0designed as\u00a0a\u00a0short course to be conducted\u00a0in three phases\u00a0in\u00a0face to face mode for 5 days\u00a0followed by\u00a0field work for 21 days and reflection and assessment for 3 days.<\/p>\n

It was further given out that the course aims to provide teachers with the knowledge, understanding and skills on the generic concerns such as understanding of learners, school based assessment, pre-school and foundational literacy and numeracy and teaching-learning in multi-grade situations and also on subject specific pedagogy in the area of Environmental Studies, Languages, Mathematics, Social Sciences and Science.<\/p>\n

Care has been taken to focus on enhancement of teaching skills and sensitivity for integrating social concern. The sole purpose of the\u00a0programme is to adopt a paradigm shift in\u00a0the\u00a0teaching learning approach.<\/p>\n
