The Department of Public Administration, Panjab University, Chandigarh invites applications for admission to M.Phil\/Ph.D Programme for the session 2020-21 as per the following schedule:<\/p>\n

Last Date for the submission of\u00a0Application\u00a0:\u00a0 \u00a0 31.12.2020\u00a0(Thursday)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Date of Interview\u00a0(Online\u00a0Mode)\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 11.01.2021 (Monday) 2:00 PM\u00a0onwards<\/p>\n

  2. Latest Photograph<\/li>\n
  3. DMC of 10th<\/sup>\u00a0Class<\/li>\n
  4. DMC of 10+2\u00a0Class<\/li>\n
  5. All Graduation\u00a0DMCs<\/li>\n
  6. All Post-Graduation\u00a0DMCs<\/li>\n
  7. Caste Certificate, if\u00a0any<\/li>\n
  8. Aadhar\u00a0Card<\/li>\n
  9. Research\u00a0Proposal*<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    *\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0The Research Proposal should cover tentative title\/research area, its rationale, theoretical frame work, objectives, research questions, and proposed research methodology. This will have\u00a0to\u00a0be presented before the Interview Committee of the Department at the time of interview. All the applicants must prepare 8 to 10 minutes PPT as per their research proposal. The research aptitude of the applicant will be assessed on the basis of interview\/presentation. However, the topic of research will be finalized in consultation with the supervisor after admission. The Research proposal for the presentation for the admission should include reference to 3 or 4 reference books and 4 or 5 journal articles.<\/p>\n

    Important Instructions:<\/h4>\n

    The candidates who have cleared any of the following national tests can apply for M.Phil\/Ph.D Admission for the session 2020-21:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • UGC-CSIR NET including JRF, SLET, GATE or any other prestigious test for national\u00a0level scholarship\/fellowship conducted at all India level on behalf of national institutions for example GPAT and\u00a0JEST.<\/li>\n
    • Direct awardees of fellowship for pursuing\u00a0Ph.D.<\/li>\n
    • Working permanent teachers of Panjab University and affiliated\u00a0colleges<\/li>\n
    • Ph.D Entrance Test of Panjab University for admission to Ph.D\/M.Phil shall be walid for 3 years.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      The GATE qualifying score be considered as the basic. GATE\/GPAT of any other national level test meant for admission to Ph.D\/M.Phil shall be valid forever.<\/p>\n
