CEC Feroz Khan\u00a0kick starts Covid-19 vaccination in Kargil<\/b><\/b><\/h2>\n

KARGIL, JANUARY 18, 2021: Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC, Kargil, Feroz Ahmad Khan kick started COVID-19 Vaccination in Kargil at District Hospital Kargil here today.<\/p>\n

Chief Medical Officer Kargil, Dr. Munawar Hussain Wazir received the first shot of COVID-19 Vaccine.<\/p>\n

Executive Councilor for Works\u00a0Mubarak Shah Nagvi, Executive Councillor for Social Welfare Aga Syed Hassan Arman, Executive Councillor for Tourism Er Phunsog Tashi, Executive Councillor for Health\u00a0Muhammad Ali Chandan, Additional Deputy\u00a0Commissioner (ADC) Kargil Tsering Motup, Vice President Imam Khomeini Memorial Trust (IKMT), Kargil Sheikh Bashir Shakir, representative of Anjuman e Jamiat ul Ulema Isna Ashariya, Kargil Sheikh Ali Naqi, representative of Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamaat Kargil Shahnawaz Ahmad Var, Buddhist scholar Geyn Nawang Paljor, President Anjuman e Sufia Noorbakshiya Kargil Aga Syed Muhammad Shah, Medical Officers of District Hospital Kargil, members of civil society and healthcare workers were\u00a0present on the occasion.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, CEC Feroz Khan applauded the efforts of the Health Care Workers, Administration and civil society for containing the pandemic until the arrival of COVID-19 vaccine and called it a historic day for Kargil.<\/p>\n

Feroz Khan underscoring the importance of the vaccination said that all should vaccinate themselves with enthusiasm and suggested to avoid the rumors related to the vaccine.<\/p>\n

The CEC\u00a0added that it is due to the relentless dedication of the scientists that the nation has been able to develop the vaccine in the\u00a0country itself.\u00a0He also lauded the team of Health Department Kargil for carrying out the drive with proper precautions and precision.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the CMO Kargil Dr Munawar\u00a0Hussain Wazir\u00a0said that since he took the vaccination shots, there has been no reaction or adverse affect of it.<\/p>\n

Dr Munawar Wazir added\u00a0that it is like a normal vaccination and requested\u00a0the people to enroll themselves to get vaccinated on priority when their turn comes and avoid rumors related to the\u00a0vaccine.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, 98 health workers\u00a0are going to get vaccinated on the first day today and proper care and precautions have been taken to accomplish\u00a0the vaccination.<\/p>\n

Moreover, 2224 health workers are going get vaccinated in a phased manner at 23 vaccination centres in Kargil District during the first phase of vaccination.<\/p>\n

Proper management of the vaccination has been taken in consideration by dividing the vaccination centre into waiting room, vaccination room and observation room.<\/p>\n

Besides, paramedical staffs have been deployed in adequate number at all\u00a0vaccination centres\u00a0across the district to carry out the drive with proper protocols.<\/p>\n
