Grant of Presidential Awards to the officers of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs on Republic Day, 2021

Every year, the officers of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs and its field offices are considered for grant of Presidential Award of Appreciation Certificates and Medals for \u201cExceptionally Meritorious Service rendered at the Risk of Life\u201d\u00a0and for Presidential Award of Appreciation Certificates and Medals for\u00a0\u201cSpecially Distinguished Record of Service\u201d\u00a0on their achieving and maintaining excellence in discharge of their duties. These awards are announced on the eve of the Republic Day.<\/p>\n

This year, 2 officers have been selected for grant of Presidential Award of Appreciation Certificates and Medals for\u00a0\u201cExceptionally Meritorious Service rendered at the Risk of Life\u201d\u00a0and 22 officers for \u201cSpecially Distinguished Record of Service\u201d on the basis of their exemplary and flawless performance in their respective fields of service over the years. The awardees selected this year include the officers working as Additional Director General, Assistant Director, Superintendent\/ Senior Intelligence Officer (SIO), Intelligence Officer (IO), Senior Technical Assistant and Driver, who have been consistently committed to the department in various fields over the years. The list of officers, along with their designation and their present place of posting, who have been selected for grant of the Presidential Award of Appreciation Certificate and Medals for \u201cExceptionally Meritorious Service rendered at the Risk of Life\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cSpecially Distinguished Record of Service\u201d, on the occasion of the Republic Day, 2021\u00a0is given below:<\/p>\n
