India is the fastest country to cross landmark of vaccinating 4 million beneficiaries in merely 18 days

India has achieved a significant achievement in its fight against the global pandemic. Nearly 4.5 million (44,49,552)\u00a0<\/strong>beneficiaries have received COVID19 vaccination\u00a0in merely 19 days. I<\/strong>ndia has been the fastest country to achieve 4 million COVID19 vaccinations in just 18 days. Many other countries have had a head start of almost 65 days. India launched the countrywide COVID19 vaccination drive on 16th<\/sup>\u00a0Jan 2021.<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The number of beneficiaries being vaccinated every day has also shown a progressive increase. In the last 24 hours,\u00a03,10,604\u00a0<\/strong>people were vaccinated across 8,041 sessions. 84,617 sessions have been conducted so far.<\/p>\n

54.87%\u00a0 of the total beneficiaries vaccinated against COVID19, so far, are from seven States. India\u2019s total Active Caseload has dropped to\u00a01.55 lakh (1,55,025)\u00a0<\/strong>today. India\u2019s present active caseload now consists of just 1.44%<\/strong>\u00a0of India\u2019s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

The day-on-day change in number of active cases over the past few weeks depicts the consistent decline in the active cases.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s Daily Positivity Rate is\u00a01.82%,<\/strong>\u00a0as of today. India has maintained the\u00a0daily positivity rate below 2% in last few weeks (19 days) as shown. <\/strong>The total recovered cases stand at\u00a01,04,80,455<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The difference in New Recoveries outnumbering New Cases has also improved the Recovery Rate to\u00a097.13%\u00a0<\/strong>today. The total recovered cases are 67.6 times the active cases.<\/p>\n

86.04%<\/strong> of the new recovered cases are observed to be concentrated in 6 States\/UTs. Maharashtrahas reported the maximum number of single day recoveries with 7,030 newly recovered cases. 6,380 people recovered in Kerala in the past 24 hours followed by 533 in Tamil Nadu. 84.67% of the new cases<\/strong>\u00a0are from 6 States and UTs.<\/p>\n

Kerala continues to report the highest daily new cases at 6,356. It is followed by Maharashtra with 2,992, while Tamil Nadu reported 514 new cases.<\/p>\n

Six States\/UTs account for\u00a071.03%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new deaths. Maharashtra saw the maximum casualties (30). Kerala follows with 20 daily deaths. Both West Bengal and Chhattisgarh has reported 7 casualties.<\/p>\n
