HSCCW has recorded historical and commendable achievements in the field of child welfare in last three years: Krishan Dhull<\/h2>\n

Chandigarh, April 3:\u00a0 The Honorary General Secretary of Haryana State Council for Child Welfare (HSCCW), Krishan Dhull while addressing a press conference here today\u00a0 said that during his three years tenure, ending on April 4, 2021 HSCCW has recorded historical and commendable achievements in the field of child welfare.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said that he is grateful to Governor, Satyadeo Narain Arya\u00a0 who is the President of HSCCW and Chief Minister, Manohar Lal, who is the Vice-President of\u00a0 HSCCW for giving him an opportunity to serve as Honorary General Secretary.\u00a0 On this occasion, he also extended his wishes to his successor, Sh.\u00a0 Parveen Atri.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said that at the beginning of his three-year tenure, the Council was struggling with financial crisis, but now on completion of his tenure, Council has become financially strong.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said that in the financial year 2020-21,\u00a0 Rs. 10 crore were sanctioned by the government for child welfare activities, while an additional grant of Rs. 15 crore were approved in the budget by making amendments.\u00a0 He said that in the financial year 2021-22, the government has made a provision of Rs 25 crore in the budget. This will help the Council in carrying out child welfare activities swiftly.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said that the Council is doing commendable work for the welfare of children. To fulfill the dreams of children, the Council is providing a big platform, through which children are polishing their talents.<\/p>\n

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0Krishan Dhull said that the biggest Bal Bhawan in the country, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities has been inaugurated at Gurugram at a cost of about\u00a0 Rs. 22 crore.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said that the Haileymandi Bal Bhawan Gurugram is equipped with modern facilities. An amount of Rs. 2.26 crore each has been sanctioned for the construction of Bal Bhawans at Nuh,\u00a0 Ferozepur Jhirka and Pinangwan. Besides, an amount of Rs. 2.65 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of Mini Bal Bhawan in Narwana he added.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said that the Council aims to promote child welfare activities so that they can enjoy their childhood. He said that in the last 3 years, many schemes like Bal Sangam,\u00a0 Bal Samanvay and online competitions were started for child welfare.<\/p>\n
