The cumulative number of COVID19 vaccine doses administered in the country has crossed\u00a09.80 Cr<\/strong><\/b>. 9,80,75,160 <\/strong><\/b>vaccine doses have been administered through 14,75,410 sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. These include\u00a089,88,373\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>HCWs who have taken the 1st dose and\u00a054,79,821\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>HCWs who have taken the 2nd dose,\u00a098,67,330\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>FLWs (1st<\/sup>dose),\u00a046,59,035\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>FLWs (2nd<\/sup>dose), 3,86,53,105\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose beneficiaries and\u00a015,90,388\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose beneficiaries more than 60 years old and\u00a02,82,55,044\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>(1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose) and\u00a05,82,064\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>(2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose) beneficiaries aged 45 to 60.<\/p>\n

8 states account for 60.62% of the total doses given so far in the country. Over 34 lakh vaccination doses were administered in the last 24 hours. <\/strong><\/b>As on Day-84 of the vaccination drive (9th<\/sup>\u00a0April, 2021),\u00a034,15,055\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>vaccine doses were given. Out of which, 30,06,037 beneficiaries were vaccinated across 46,207 sessions for 1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose and 4,09,018 beneficiaries received 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose of vaccine.<\/p>\n

In terms of the number of daily doses administered globally, India continues to remain at the top with an average of 38,93,288 doses administered per day. India\u2019s daily new cases continue to rise. 1,45,384\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>new cases were registered in the last 24 hours.. 10 States including Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Rajasthan have shown a rise in the COVID daily new cases. 82.82%\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>of the new cases are reported from these 10 states. Maharashtra has reported the highest daily new cases at 58,993. It is followed by Chhattisgarh with 11,447 while Uttar Pradesh reported 9,587 new cases.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s total Active Caseload has reached\u00a010,46,631<\/strong><\/b>. It now comprises\u00a07.93%<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0of the country’s total Positive Cases. A net incline of\u00a067,023<\/strong><\/b> cases recorded from the total active caseload in the last 24 hours. The 5 states of Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh and Kerala cumulatively account for 72.23%<\/strong><\/b> of India\u2019s total active cases. Maharashtra alone accounts for 51.23% of the total active caseload of the country.<\/p>\n

Ten districts account for 45.65% of the total active cases in the country.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s cumulative recoveries stand at\u00a01,19,90,859<\/strong><\/b>\u00a0today. The National Recovery Rate is\u00a090.80%. <\/strong><\/b>77,567<\/strong><\/b> recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours. Daily Deaths continue to show an upward trend. 794<\/strong><\/b> deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Ten States account for\u00a086.78%\u00a0<\/strong><\/b>of the new deaths. Maharashtra saw the maximum casualties (301). Chhattisgarh follows with 91 daily deaths.<\/p>\n
