25 MT additional oxygen to be transported from Selaqui Linde\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Now State’s Oxygen quota increased to 257\u00a0 MT\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Chief Minister had made a\u00a0special request to Central Government\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Tankers\u00a0 carrying oxygen airlifted to Bhubaneswar and\u00a0 Rourkela Plant scheduled\u00a0to reach Haryana by today\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Chandigarh, May 1:<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0 While accepting Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal’s request of increasing the allocation of State’s oxygen quota, the Central Government has allocated 25 MT additional oxygen which would be transported from\u00a0Selaqui Linde<\/strong>\u00a0in the State.\u00a0With this, the oxygen quota of the State has been increased to 257 MT.<\/p>\n

It is pertinent to mention that the Chief Minister is working day and night to ensure there is no dearth of oxygen in Haryana and is\u00a0closely supervising the supply of oxygen in the state.<\/p>\n

Sharing more details in this regard an official spokesperson said that keeping in view the sudden increase in the demand for Oxygen in the hospitals across the state, Sh. Manohar Lal had urged the Central Government to increase oxygen supply quota of the State after which an additional\u00a025 MT of oxygen has been added to the State’s quota.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, earlier the oxygen tankers carrying additional oxygen quota for Haryana from Bhubaneswar and\u00a0 Rourkela Plant will also be reaching by today in the State.\u00a0 After this, there would be no shortage of oxygen in the State.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson further informed that\u00a0 Sh. Manohar Lal while ensuring an uninterrupted supply of oxygen throughout the state has been conducting back to back meetings with the higher officers of every district and is directing the officers concerned to make the state quota oxygen available to the public at the earliest.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson further informed that two Oxygen tankers were airlifted to Bhubaneswar on Thursday and two have been airlifted on Friday. Once these oxygen tankers arrive, it is expected that there will be enough oxygen in Haryana.<\/p>\n

The spokesman said that Sh. Manohar Lal would also be touring throughout the state and has advised against wastage of protocol energy during his trips. He will be reviewing preparations and arrangements for combating the COVID-19 situation.<\/p>\n
