DELHI MAY 20, 2021:<\/strong><\/p>\n

India\u2019s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the seventh consecutive day.\u00a03,69,077\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries\u00a0were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s cumulative recoveries have reached\u00a02,23,55,440\u00a0<\/strong>today. The National Recovery Rate\u00a0has grown further to touch\u00a086.74%.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ten states account for\u00a075.11%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new recoveries.<\/p>\n

In another positive development, India records less than 3 lakh new cases for four consecutive days now.<\/p>\n

2,76,110 Daily\u00a0<\/strong>New Cases were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Ten States reported\u00a077.17%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new cases in last 24 hours.\u00a0Tamil Nadu\u00a0has reported the highest daily new cases at\u00a034,875,\u00a0followed by Karnataka with 34,281 new cases.<\/p>\n

On the other front, India\u2019s total Active Caseload has decreased to\u00a031,29,878\u00a0<\/strong>today.<\/p>\n

A net decline of\u00a096,841\u00a0<\/strong>is witnessed in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

It now\u00a0comprises\u00a012.14%\u00a0<\/strong>of the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

8\u00a0<\/strong>States cumulatively account for\u00a069.23%<\/strong>\u00a0of India\u2019s total Active Cases.<\/p>\n

More than 20.55 Lakh tests were conducted in the last 24 hours (the highest ever conducted in a single day in India).<\/strong>\u00a0With this achievement, India broke its own record which it had set yesterday.<\/p>\n

The daily positivity rate stands at 13.44%.<\/p>\n

Cumulatively, 20,55,010 tests conducted in the last 24 hours in the country.<\/p>\n

The National Mortality Rate currently stands at\u00a01.11%.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3,874\u00a0<\/strong>deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Ten States account for\u00a072.25%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new deaths. Maharashtra saw the maximum casualties (594). Karnataka follows with 468 daily deaths.<\/p>\n

The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has reached\u00a018.70 Cr<\/strong>\u00a0today under the Phase-3 of the nationwide Vaccination Drive.<\/p>\n

A total of\u00a018,70,09,792<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 27,31,435sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. These include\u00a096,85,934\u00a0<\/strong>HCWs who have taken the 1st<\/sup>\u00a0dose and\u00a066,67,394\u00a0<\/strong>HCWs who have taken the 2nd<\/sup>dose,\u00a01,46,36,501\u00a0<\/strong>FLWs (1st<\/sup>dose),\u00a082,56,381\u00a0<\/strong>FLWs (2nd<\/sup>dose),\u00a070,17,189\u00a0<\/strong>beneficiaries under 18-44 age group (1st<\/sup>dose),\u00a05,83,47,950\u00a0<\/strong>(1st<\/sup>dose) and\u00a094,36,168\u00a0<\/strong>(2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose) beneficiaries aged 45 to 60 years.\u00a05,49,36,096\u00a0<\/strong>1st<\/sup>dose beneficiaries and\u00a01,80,26,179\u00a0<\/strong>2nd<\/sup>\u00a0dose beneficiaries of more than 60 years old.<\/p>\n
