With more than 21.23 Lakh tests conducted in the last 24 hours, India has again set a new record of highest tests conducted in a single day.\u00a0<\/strong>This is also the fifth successive day of more than 20 lakh tests in India. India has significantly ramped up its testing capacity to about 25 lakh tests per day, since Jan 2020.<\/p>\n

Cumulatively, 21,23,782 tests conducted in the last 24 hours in the country.<\/p>\n

On a declining trajectory, the Daily Positivity Rate has declined to\u00a011.34%.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Daily Positivity Rate (7 day moving average) is depicted below. Observed to be lowest since 10th<\/sup>\u00a0May.<\/p>\n

In another positive development, India has recorded less than 3 lakh Daily New Cases for seven consecutive days now.<\/p>\n

2,40,842\u00a0<\/strong>Daily New Cases were registered in the last 24 hours. This is the lowest figure since 17th<\/sup>\u00a0April 2021, when the daily new cases were 2.34 lakh.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases for the ninth consecutive day.\u00a03,55,102\u00a0<\/strong>recoveries\u00a0were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

India\u2019s cumulative recoveries have reached\u00a02,34,25,467\u00a0<\/strong>today. The National Recovery Rate\u00a0has grown further to touch\u00a088.30%.<\/strong><\/p>\n

On the other hand, India\u2019s total Active Caseload has decreased to\u00a028,05,399\u00a0<\/strong>today.<\/p>\n

A net decline of\u00a01,18,001\u00a0<\/strong>is witnessed in the last 24 hours. It now\u00a0comprises\u00a010.57%\u00a0<\/strong>of the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

7\u00a0<\/strong>States cumulatively account for\u00a066.88%<\/strong>\u00a0of India\u2019s total Active Cases.<\/p>\n

The National Mortality Rate currently stands at\u00a01.13%.<\/strong><\/p>\n

3,741\u00a0<\/strong>deaths were reported in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Ten States account for\u00a073.88%\u00a0<\/strong>of the new deaths. Maharashtra saw the maximum casualties (682). Karnataka follows with 451 daily deaths.<\/p>\n

The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country exceeded\u00a019.50 Cr\u00a0<\/strong>today under the Phase-3 of the nationwide Vaccination Drive.<\/p>\n

A total of\u00a019,50,04,184\u00a0<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 28,00,808sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today.
