JAMMU, JUNE 04, 2021<\/strong>: Due to strict containment strategy, the covid positivity rate has dropped to less than 4% in Jammu district, said Deputy Commissioner Anshul Garg during a press briefing, here today.<\/div>\n
The Deputy Commissioner said that intensive testing in both rural and urban areas, coupled with other measures, has helped in the containment of Covid spread. He said that 70 dedicated teams have been pressed in for testing in rural areas.<\/div>\n
Anshul Garg further informed that District Administration Jammu has launched an online survey to collect data about the persons in 45+and Divyang category, who have not yet taken vaccination. Link is available upto 10th of June, he said and appealed the left out beneficiaries in the district to fill details through the form available on the link https:\/\/forms.gle\/KTuEEAtomG8617Ab7. He also Informed the there are 35 vaccination sites including 5 sites for covaxin and 30 sites for covishield and urged people to get vaccinated.<\/div>\n
Anshul Garg also appealed to the people to avail benefits of the Covid Care Centres activated at all 305 Panchayats of the district with 5 bed facility including on oxygenated bed.<\/div>\n
He again appealed to the people to keep following the restrictions and SOPs\/guidelines issued by the Administration as these are for their own benefits and protection from Covid-19.<\/div>\n
He informed that people can also share their grievances on the official Twitter account of Deputy Commissioner “@dcjammuofficial” or through Facebook “District Administration Jammu” and “District Information Center Jammu”.<\/div>\n
