India continues to report a sustained slide in the daily new COVID cases. The country has reported\u00a062,224\u00a0<\/strong>Daily New Cases in the last 24 hours.\u00a0Less than 1 lakh Daily New Cases<\/strong>have been reported for\u00a09 continuous\u00a0days\u00a0now<\/strong>. This is a result of sustained and\u00a0collaborative efforts by the Centre and the States\/UTs.<\/p>\n

India has also been witnessing a continuous fall in the active caseload. The country\u2019s Active Caseload today stands at 8,65,432.\u00a0The Caseload has declined below 9 lakh mark after 70 days.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A net decline of\u00a047,946<\/strong>is witnessed in the last 24 hours and active cases are now only\u00a02.92%<\/strong>\u00a0of the country’s total Positive Cases.<\/p>\n

As more people are getting recovered from COVID-19 infection, India\u2019s Daily Recoveries continue to outnumber the Daily New Cases\u00a0for 34 consecutive\u00a0days now.\u00a01,07,628<\/strong>recoveries were registered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Over 45 thousand\u00a0(45,404)\u00a0<\/strong>more\u00a0recoveries were reported during the last 24 hours as compared to the daily new cases.<\/p>\n

Out of the people infected\u00a0since the beginning\u00a0of the pandemic,\u00a02,83,88,100people have already recovered from COVID-19\u00a0<\/strong>&1,07,628\u00a0<\/strong>patients have recovered in the last 24 hours. This constitutes an overall recovery rate of\u00a095.80%,\u00a0<\/strong>which is showing a sustained increasing trend.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cumulatively, India has conducted over 38.33crore (38,33,06,971<\/strong>) tests so far.<\/p>\n

While on one side testing has been enhanced across the country, a continued decline in weekly case positivity is noticed.\u00a0Weekly Positivity Rate is currently at 4.17%<\/strong>\u00a0while the\u00a0Daily Positivity rate stands at 3.22% today.\u00a0<\/strong>It has remained less than 5% for 9 consecutive days now.<\/p>\n

India crossed the landmark of 26 crore vaccination coverage yesterday. A total of\u00a026,19,72,014<\/strong>vaccine doses have been administered through 36,17,099sessions, as per the provisional report till 7 am today. 28,00,458 vaccine doses were administered in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n
