Chandigarh, June 25<\/strong>– Haryana Education and Forest and Environment Minister, Sh. Kanwarpal said that a law will be brought in the state to monitor the continuous fee hike by private schools so that schools do not overcharge fees. He added that fee hike of more than 8-10 % in a year cannot be justified in any way.<\/p>\n

Sh. Kanwarpal said this while interacting with the mediapersons after the meeting of the District Grievance Redressal Committee in Karnal today.<\/p>\n

Responding to a question asked by a mediapersons, the Education Minister said that a law will also be brought by the Government on SLC and the parents will have to pay the school expenses for giving SLC. But private schools will not be allowed to charge arbitrarily. Also, he said that Sanskriti Model Schools have been set up on the lines of private schools in Haryana wherein children are being given quality education.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Earlier, 15 complaints were raised in the meeting out of which three complainants were absent. Education Minister, Sh. Kanwarpal heard 12 complaints and resolved\u00a0 11 on the spot. On some complaints, he also directed the officers to investigate thoroughly.<\/p>\n

Government and non-official members including Mayor Smt. Renu Bala Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Sh. Nishant Kumar Yadav, Superintendent of Police, Sh. Ganga Ram Punia, Municipal Commissioner, Dr. Manoj Kumar were present in the meeting.<\/p>\n
