Chandigarh, July 1:<\/strong> In a bid to ensure that every family identified under State Government\u2019s ambitious Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana (MMAPUY) gets the employment of their choice, Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today directed the Administrative Secretaries appointed to look after the implementation of MMAPUY to constitute a joint team of six departments for reaching out to each family at grassroot levels.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The Chief Minister while presiding over a review meeting with the Administrative Secretaries said that the joint team should include one member each of six main departments namely Development and Panchayats Department, Urban Local Bodies Department, Haryana Skill Development and Industrial Training Department, Animal Husbandry and Dairying Department and Rural Development Department.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Every department which has been included in this team should make a comprehensive list of the major schemes before visiting the grassroot levels ensuring better awareness among the masses, directed the Chief Minister.<\/p>\n

So far 30,000 poor families identified having less than Rs.50, 000 income<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chief Minister said that as so far under the Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana, as many as 30,000 poor families having\u00a0 lowest income have been identified in the state on the basis of income verification and their data has already been shared with the concerned departments, therefore now dedicated efforts should be made for personally reaching out to the members of these families. He said that for this year the state government has set a target of financial upliftment of one lakh such poor families having the lowest income.<\/p>\n

Individual profiling of the families should be done on a priority basis<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chief Minister directed that members of this six-member team should organize special camps at block levels for holding one to one interaction sessions with the members of the identified and verified families.<\/p>\n

A questionnaire having details about the 30 major schemes run by the State Government should be prepared for the families and during the interaction the team members should be asked to answer the questions sharing their area of interest before finalizing the plan of increasing their income, directed the Chief Minister. Besides this, Pamphlets of mentioning the details of these 30 schemes should also be distributed among these families so as to increase their awareness, he said.<\/p>\n

A list of the families should also be made as per their choice of work that they have selected to pursue for increasing their income. Priority should be given to increasing the income of the families in the work they have already been doing, he further directed.\u00a0 He said that apart from this, during the interaction session, the families should also be made aware of the skilling courses.<\/p>\n

Constitute Zone wise committees<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>The Chief Minister said that State Government\u2019s strategy for the implementation of MMAPUY is guided by principles of Antyodaya \u2013 of serving and uplifting the last person first therefore for ensuring meticulous implementation of this scheme a Zone wise committee should also be constituted apart from this six-member team and the State Level and District Level Task Forces that have been already constituted for the implementation of this scheme.<\/p>\n

He said that every member of these teams while following the same path should not only ensure rigorous execution of the work regarding identifying the poorest one lakh families in the State but also ensure the economic upliftment of these families.<\/p>\n

\u201cEvery needy person has the first right on the government and with this mantra \u2018Mukhyamantri Antyodaya Parivar Utthan Yojana\u2019 has been launched that will be an umbrella mission encompassing all schemes of Government to identify the scheme or set of schemes to supplement the upliftment of these one lakh families\u201d said the Chief Minister.<\/p>\n

Umashankar, Principal Secretary Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Sh. Vineet Garg, Principal Secretary General Administration Department,\u00a0 Sh. Vijayendra Kumar, Commissioner and Secretary\u00a0 Employment Department, Sh. Nitin Kumar Yadav, Director General Skill Development and\u00a0 Industrial Training and Employment, Sh. P. C.
