More emphasis being given on vaccination so as to ensure safety<\/strong><\/p>\n

Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal said that Kalpana Chawla Government Medical College (KCGMC) in Karnal is the second institute in the state after PGI Rohtak to provide quality health services to the patients.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Chief Minister was addressing a gathering\u00a0 at KCGMC, Karnal today after felicitating the health workers who have rendered excellent services during COVID-19.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Earlier, he inaugurated a dialysis centre in this medical college built\u00a0at a cost of Rs.1 crore.\u00a0 As many as eight\u00a0 machines have been installed in this dialysis centre.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Chief Minister said that with the setting up of this dialysis centre,\u00a0timely and required treatment to critical patients can be assured\u00a0 and their lives would be saved.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Lauding\u00a0 the pivotal role played by the doctors and health workers in KCGMC during this Pandemic,\u00a0 the Chief Minister said that the doctors while considering\u00a0 \u00a0social service as their\u00a0 supreme religion had treated every\u00a0 patient as their own family.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya University of Medical Sciences to be built in Kutel village would also greatly benefit the health\u00a0 services being provided by KCGMC.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said that\u00a0 efforts are\u00a0 being made by the state government to ensure maximum vaccination so that safety of everyone can be ensured from the\u00a0 expected third wave of COVID-19.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Chief Minister said that Haryana is geared up to tackle the third wave. All the adequate arrangements have been made.\u00a0 Oxygen plants are also being set up at CHC level in the state.\u00a0 No person in the state will have to face any problem to get timely treatment, said Sh. Manohar Lal.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The Chief Minister said that the second wave was very\u00a0 dangerous, the shortage of oxygen was overcome with continuous efforts.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Speaking on this occasion, MP Sh. Sanjay Bhatia thanked the religious and social organizations of the district for supporting state government in their fight against this Pandemic.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He said thet as many as 1 lakh masks were given by an American company and 15 lakh masks and PPE kits are being transported to the state by sea route.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 He also expressed his gratitude to Sh.\u00a0 Yashpal Keharwal, General Manager, Ebro Company for setting up a\u00a0 250 MT oxygen plant\u00a0 by Ebro Company at KCGMC, costing\u00a0 around Rs 50 lakh.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 KCGMC Director, Dr. Jagdish Dureja said that the staff worked tirelessly during the Panemic.\u00a0 \u00a0The Chief Minister from his voluntary fund had donated\u00a0The\u00a0 Ecmo machine\u00a0for the service of the patients, which went a long way in saving the lives of the patients.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 On this occasion, Director, KCGMC, Dr. Jagdish Dureja, Dr. Utkarsh, Dr. Varun Arora, Dr. Sunpreet, Staff Nurses Shilpa and Saroj Duhan, sweepers Jagwinder and Manoj, Class IV employees Sanjeev and Naresh were felicitated.<\/p>\n
