3-day online faculty development program on Training Needs Analysis hosted by SCERT J&K- Jammu concludes<\/strong><\/div>\n

The three-day online faculty development program on Training Needs Analysis conducted from July 1 to July 3, 2021 by Teacher Education Wing, SCERT J&K, Jammu concluded today.<\/div>\n
The online event was held on the directions of Principal Secretary School Education Department, B.K.Singh and under the guidance of Director SCERT J&K, Prof. Veena Pandita and overall supervision of Joint Director, SCERT J&K,\u00a0 Surinder Kumar.<\/div>\n
The program was inaugurated by Director Prof. Veena Pandita, who apprised the participants about the significance of systematic approach for training as being adopted in all upcoming training programmes.<\/div>\n
The welcome address was presented by Joint Director, SCERT J&K\u00a0 Jammu\u00a0 Surinder Kumar. The program aimed at developing the knowledge and skills among the DIET faculty regarding the analysis of needs of the training process before conducting a training program, which may help in increasing employee\u2019s involvement in their job and therefore increasing the job satisfaction and achieving the learning outcomes of any training programs. The program was a blend of theoretical and practical experiences involving discussions, resource lectures, interactive sessions, group activities, etc.\u00a0 Fifty officers from 10 DIETs of Jammu division, 5 from each attended this program. The resource persons in this program included\u00a0 Dr. V.P.S. Raju, Professor, NIEPA, New Delhi;\u00a0 Dr. J.N. Baliya, HoD, Dept. of Educational studies, Central University, Jammu; Dr. Aman, Assistant Professor, Dept. of Educational studies, Central University,Jammu and Dr. Sunita Zalpuri, Formerly Dean and Head, Centre for Good Governance, IMPARD J&K<\/div>\n
On the concluding day of the programme, several teams of DIETs of Jammu Division gave presentations on SWOT Analysis and preparation of questionnaires.<\/div>\n
The programme was co-ordinated by Rakhi Atri, Academic Officer, SCERT J&K Jammu. Other members from Teacher Education Wing, who worked to accomplish the program successfully were Dr. Sabeta Kohli (AO),\u00a0 \u00a0Kuldeep Kumar (AO),\u00a0 Akash Khajuria (Teacher),\u00a0 Yougal Kishore (Teacher), Avinakshi Kargotra (Statistical Officer).<\/div>\n
The program concluded with presentation of vote of thanks by\u00a0 \u00a0 Pawan Kumar Gupta, I\/C CEO \/ Head Teacher Education Wing, SCERT J&K Jammu.<\/div>\n
