The Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Act, 2015 and the Model Rules framed there under provide for the rehabilitation and reintegration of children through sponsorship and foster-care, inter alia. The Ministry is implementing a Centrally Sponsored Scheme namely Child Protection Services (CPS) in partnership with the State Governments\/UT Administrations for delivering the institutional and non-institutional care as stipulated under the JJ Act. As per the Scheme guidelines, an amount of Rs.2000\/- per month per child is available for non institutional care (sponsorship, foster care, aftercare) subject to the limit of Rs. 10 lakh per district.<\/p>\n

As per the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report available at their website i.e. https:\/\/ncrb.gov.in, State-wise, case registered under the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 during the last three year is\u00a0Annexed.<\/strong><\/p>\n
