Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sh. Harvinder Kalyan said Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the meaning of politics. Earlier, politics was seen only as a way to get power, but now, power is used for service of people.

Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker Sh. Harvinder Kalyan was speaking on Tuesday as the chief guest at a blood donation camp organized under ‘Sewa Pakhwada’ at village Mohidinpur, Karnal. During the programme, the villagers participated enthusiastically in the blood donation camp. On this occasion, the Speaker honoured the individuals donating blood by presenting them with certificates of appreciation.

The Speaker said on the occasion of the Prime Minister’s birthday, Sewa Pakhwada is being run across the country, under which continuous service works are being carried out through various activities. In these programmes, along with the administration, social organizations and business organizations, people of society are also participating together.

Significant changes in the last 10 years

He said the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been full of struggle, he has experienced poverty and hardships very closely. That is why today, while holding the post of Prime Minister, he cares for every poor person. He said in the last 10 years, there have been significant changes in the system. Today, the schemes run by the government are being delivered to every household. The money of the schemes goes directly into the accounts of beneficiaries, due to which corruption has ended.

Everyone should work together for society

Sh. Harvinder Kalyan said today’s programme is not limited only to blood donation, but it is an opportunity to awaken the spirit of service in every individual. This is the meaning of Sewa Pakhwada – that all of us should work together for the good of society. He said if we want to take our region forward on the path of progress, it is necessary to pay attention to children’s education and to give them good values so that a prosperous society can be built.
