Science Fest should become a medium to introduce the new generation to the history of Indian science

Director General of M.P. Council of Science and Technology Dr. Anil Kothari said that this is the biggest science festival in Asia. We want that the students and general public of Madhya Pradesh should get information about science through this festival. He said that there are five pillars of science festival. In ‘Freedom Struggle’, Indian scientists associated with the freedom struggle will be introduced. In ‘Ideas at Seventy Five’, new ideas have been invited from the youth. The achievements of 75 years will be projected in ‘Achievements at Seventy Five’. Action at Seventy Five will have 75 action plans for New India. Resolve at Seventy Five will have 75 resolutions for Atmanirbhar Bharat.
Dr. Avnish Kumar Shrivastava, Director, CSIR-AMPRI said that science cannot be limited to laboratories. He said that science has played an important role in economic development and creation of employment opportunities. Chairman of Madhya Pradesh Private University Regulatory Commission, Dr. Bharat Sharan Singh said that such an event should have been started in 1947. Vigyan Mahotsav will be a platform for exchange of ideas along with providing joy and healthy entertainment. He said that rocket science is a gift of India.
