Chandigarh, October 18 – The Students Organization of India (SOI) bagged the post of President and General Secretary in the largest and most renowned Commerce College of the region – GGDSD College, Sector 32 and also the post of President in the Government College, Sector 46.
Disclosing this, former Youth Akali Dal (YAD) president Parambans Singh Romana said while Gurbaz Singh Batth and Lakshay Tulli won the polls for the post of President and General Secretary of GGDSD College, Gautam Sahota won the poll for the post of President of the student council of Government College, Sector 46.
While congratulating the winners on behalf of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) president Sukhbir Singh Badal, the Akali leader wished them success in their new roles besides assuring full support of the party in accomplishing student welfare projects as well as removal of grievances of students of both institutions.
