Special vaccination session to be set up for teachers

CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that continuous caution is required despite good control of Corona infection in the state. Everyone has to be alert while paying attention to strict adherence to Covid protocol. After successful completion of Vaccination Maha Abhiyan-2 in the state, citizens are now secure, but keeping in mind the possibility of another wave in future, it is necessary for everyone to remain alert. Schools are being reopened with necessary arrangements. If necessary, arrangements for separate special vaccination sessions will be made for teachers, who have not been administered both doses of vaccine.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing a meeting at his residence in connection with the operation of schools in the state this evening. Minister of State (Independent Charge) for School Education Shri Inder Singh Parmar was present. According to the decision taken in the meeting, classes from VI to XII will begin from September 1 with 50 pc students in all government and non-government schools of the state. In this decision, parent’s consent and strict adherence to the Covid 19 guidelines has been made mandatory.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan has appealed to all the students and parents to ensure Corona approrpirate behavior and cooperate in the arrangement of teaching work with utmost care.
It may be noted that the academic session 2021 has started in the state from June 15. Enrollment is almost complete. Like last year, online classes have been conducted in this session also. Not only this, study material has been disseminated through television, radio and smart phones. In the mandatory points that have been set for the operation of the schools, it is necessary that all the staff working in the schools should have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
