Start repairing Bhopal roads from October 1
The repair work of Bhopal city roads should be started from October 1. The repair work should be done as per the prescribed norms. There should be no compromise on the quality of work. Urban Development and Housing Minister Shri Bhupendra Singh gave these instructions during the review of the roads of Bhopal city.
Shri Singh said that according to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain in the remaining days of the month of September. Therefore, immediately after that the work should be started from October 1 and completed within the time-limit. He said that the repair work of the roads under guarantee period should also be done by the concerned contractor from October 1.
Commissioner Municipal Corporation Bhopal Shri KVS. Chaudhary said that an action plan has been prepared for the repair of 288 different roads of the city with an estimated cost of Rs 70 crore 60 lakh.
