State government committed to stop Omicron infection

CM Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the state government is committed to protect the citizens of the state from Omicron, the new variant of Covid. The Chief Minister said that this variant has knocked not only in Madhya Pradesh but also in the country. The number of citizens infected with Omicron is coming to the fore in every state. In Madhya Pradesh also 77 cases have reported positive. Most of them are in Indore. We are making all the arrangements in time so that we are ready to deal with any situation. Along with this, it is also necessary that the general public stays alert by following all the guidelines. Precautions like use of face mask, mutual distance should be taken care of. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that at present about 60 thousand bed capacity is available in various government and private hospitals in the state. Instructions have also been given to keep the Covid Care Centres ready.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan after inspecting various wards of Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal today gave a message to the people of the state. He said that the Madhya Pradesh government is determined to stop the Omicron infection. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that along with inspecting the biggest hospital of the capital, he himself is constantly reviewing for better health and treatment facilities in the entire state, this will continue even further.
