Expresses deep condolences on the demise of Late R.P. Sharma

Shiromani Akali Dal President and former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today reached Pathankot, where he met working State President BJP Punjab and MLA Ashwani Sharma and expressed grief over the demise of his elder brother, Late R.P. Sharma.
Expressing condolences to Ashwani Sharma and his family, Sukhbir Singh Badal said that R.P. Sharma was an honest man, a person of clear thinking, and one who considered social service as his duty. With his passing, not only the family but the entire region has suffered a great loss.
The Akali Dal President said that the Sharma family has always prioritized public interest, and the memory of R.P. Sharma will forever remain alive in people’s hearts. He prayed before the Almighty to grant the Sharma family the strength to bear this great loss.
On this occasion, several senior leaders and workers of the Akali Dal were also present, who too expressed their condolences to the Sharma family.
