As part of the ongoing Seva Pakhwada initiative, Leader of Opposition, Sunil Sharma, today inaugurated a Blood Donation Camp at Padder, Kishtwar. The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens, particularly the youth, who came forward in large numbers to contribute to this noble, life-saving cause.
Sharma extended his heartfelt appreciation to all the blood donors and the organizers for their commendable efforts in making the camp a resounding success. He emphasized that such initiatives not only strengthen public health infrastructure but also nurture the values of compassion, social responsibility, and nation-building.
Highlighting the significance of Seva Pakhwada, he said that the spirit of selfless service and community welfare lies at the core of our cultural ethos, and the active involvement of people in such programs reflects the collective resolve to build a healthier and stronger society.
He further urged the youth to continue their active participation in similar welfare drives, as their energy and dedication are vital for shaping a progressive nation. He added that blood donation is the greatest gift one can offer to humanity, as it saves countless lives in times of emergencies, natural calamities, and medical crises. He reiterated his commitment to encourage more such health-related initiatives across the region so that no individual is deprived of timely medical support.
