CM Shri Chouhan pays tribute to former President Late. Shri Pranab Mukherjee on his birth anniversary

Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan remembers former President Late. Shri Pranab Kumar Mukherjee on his birth anniversary. Shri Chouhan paid floral tribute by garlanding Shri Mukherjee’s portrait in the auditorium of his residence office. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan tweeted- saying that “I pay tributes to the Ajatshatru of politics, former President of India, Bharat Ratna, Late Shri Pranab Mukherjee on the birth anniversary. The service you have rendered to the nation and society through politics will always serve as a guide for the generations to come.”
Former President Shri Pranab Kumar Mukherjee was born on 11 December, 1935 in Mirati village of Birbhum district of West Bengal. Shri Pranab Mukherjee was awarded the Bharat Ratna on 26 January, 2019. He took the oath of office and secrecy on 25 July, 2012 as the 13th President of India. Shri Pranab Mukherjee authored the book ‘The Collision Years: 1996-2012’. Shri Mukherjee contributed for a long time in the Ministries of Finance, External Affairs and Defense. Shri Mukherjee also got a lot of respect in the field of social policies. Shri Mukherjee also worked as an advocate and was engaged in teaching work besides being involved in the field of journalism in his early life. He was also a trustee of Bangiya Sahitya Parishad and president of All India Banga Sahitya Sammelan. He died on 31 August, 2020 in Delhi.
