Of 1,23,848 complaints raised in the year 2021, 74752 were disposed of

On an average of 347 complaints are taken up everyday

Chandigarh, January 3- Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal started the CM Window on December 25, 2014 with a motive to realize the vision of good governance on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister, Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee and it is realising his vision in the real sense. On an average 347 complaints are being resolved every day by the Chief Minister’s Office.

According to OSD to Chief Minister, Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal, the complaints, problems and suggestions on this system are resolved in the shortest possible time by the Chief Minister’s Office by taking immediate cognizance and the complainant is informed on his mobile or by retweeting.

He said that 9,08,024 complaints/suggestions have been received during the tenure of the government for 2,624 days.  This shows that the system of CM window and Twitter handle is becoming popular among people. In fact, when a complaint received from Kaithal was resolved in just three and a half hours, people have started believing that CM WIndow is more effective than RTI.

Of 123848 complaints in the year 2021, 74752 were disposed off

According to Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal, along with the CM window, the younger generation raises issues regarding their family, locality and other public interest complaints on the Chief Minister’s Twitter account with photos and videos and their grievances are resolved. They then express gratitude by retweeting.  He informed that during the year 2021, out of 123848 complaints received on CM Window, 74752 have been disposed off, due to which the awareness of the people has increased.

Recovery of overcharging by Jindal Hospital, Hisar

OSD Sh. Bhupeshwar Dayal shared that on the basis of a ticket raised by a Hisar-based Chartered Accountant (CA), Sh. Gaurav Aggarwal wherein he stated that the amount of Rs.17123 was charged by Jindal Hospital though it was approved by the TPA, however, Rs 850 was recovered from him as unclaimed charge. He said that the matter was taken up by the CMO after the tweet and information was taken from the hospital and this unclaimed amount was refunded. The CA had then tweeted that he was satisfied and his problem has been resolved. Impressed by the functioning of the CM Window he complimented that he liked the way public grievances are dealt by them.

Sh. Dayal said that the efficient functioning of the CM Window has enhanced the confidence of the people in this system and people have started believing that it is more effective than RTI because it takes months to get information through RTI from government departments, but as soon as the complaint is uploaded on this system, on the same day it is informed from the Chief Minister’s Office that your complaint has been received and the process of its resolution has been started.

He said that there are many such cases that many students have been issued degrees and scholarships from the university concerned after raising a complaint on this platform.  People have expressed their gratitude to the officials associated with CM Window and Twitter handle personally and in writing.
